Housekeeper

Village at Belmar is one of Lakewood’s premier senior living communities, and we are looking for a conscientious and organized housekeeper to join our team. This position will be responsible for keeping both the common areas and resident’s apartments clean. You will play a critical role in the everyday lives of our amazing residents in our community. This is a full time position working Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean floors including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and disinfecting
• Clean carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, and deodorizing
• Removes dirt, dust, and grease from surfaces using proper cleaning and disinfecting solution
• Visits assigned residences to perform basic apartment cleaning
• Interacts with residents in a friendly manner, providing meaningful attention

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning and housekeeping preferred
• Personable and friendly with residents
• Conscientious and detail oriented
• Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed

Pay:

$18.00 to $19.00 an hour based on experience
