Join Our Team as a Housekeeper

 As a Housekeeper in our food manufacturing plant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of cleaning tasks to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards. The ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds is essential for this role. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sanitation and Cleaning:
   • Perform daily cleaning of designated areas, including production floors, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
   • Utilize cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
   • Ensure that all surfaces, machinery, and equipment are free from contaminants and meet established cleanliness standards.
2. Waste Management:
   • Collect and dispose of waste generated during the manufacturing process.
   • Separate recyclable materials and follow proper disposal procedures.
   • Keep waste disposal areas clean and organized.
3. Material Handling:
   • Lift, move, and transport cleaning supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
   • Assist in the distribution of cleaning materials to various plant locations.
4. Adherence to Safety Protocols:
   • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
   • Report  any unsafe conditions or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
5. Collaboration with Production Teams:
   • Coordinate cleaning activities with production schedules to minimize disruptions.
   • Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure a cohesive and well-maintained work environment.
6. Inventory Management:
   • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when       replenishment is needed.
   • Properly store and organize cleaning materials in designated areas.
7. Equipment  Maintenance:
   • Report any malfunctioning cleaning equipment to the maintenance department.
   • Ensure that cleaning tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly after       use.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in industrial or food manufacturing plant cleaning preferred.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds is mandatory.
• Knowledge of proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Understanding of safety protocols and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
