The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, ans safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role plays a vital part in infection control and resident comfort within the nursing home.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common area, and offices. Disinfect high-touch surfaces according to infection control protocols. Collect and properly dispose of trash, linens, and waste. Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Follow established cleaning schedules and safety protocols. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to supervisor. Respect resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
