Housekeeper

Orchard Valley Golf Club, located in Aurora, IL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Housekeeper! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and housekeeping management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment.

Pay: $20/hour

Key Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

• Provides daily cleaning for all of the operations including but not limited to: offices, public spaces, drinking fountains, kitchen, and restroom facilities, both on-course and inside the clubhouse.


• Performs light and heavy cleaning including but not limited to: window washing, furniture polishing, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, floor cleaning and polishing, emptying of trash cans and ashtrays.


• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.


• Implement inventory control measures for cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.


• Address guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.


• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests or events requiring additional housekeeping support.


• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial services.

Experience:

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry is preferred.


• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment used in hotel or industrial cleaning environments.


• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.


• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and guests.


• Familiarity with custodial practices and safety regulations within the hospitality sector.

Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 11 AM - 7 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 7 AM - 3 PM

Other Qualifications:
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Weekend hours are necessary
