Deep room cleaning as required or requested by Hotel Manager.
Cleaning of bathroom sinks, tubs, showers, tile and mirrors.
Performs laundry and folding functions.
Any other cleaning duties as needed or requested.
Maintains neat and equipped cart, equipment, storage and supplies.
Respects all hotel equipment and property and uses with care to avoid unnecessary damage.
Ensures the quality of hotel services and comfort of guests.
Develops and maintains effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all guests and employees. Maintains a friendly and approachable attitude towards guests.
Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and a general awareness of hotel and casino operation at all times. Takes appropriate action based on observations, as directed or as established by hotel policy, procedures and regulations. Keeps Hotel Manager informed of any concerns.
Within the realm of the responsibility of the job, maintains a clean and safe work environment. Performs duties in compliance with safety procedures, which includes use of safety equipment. Incumbents are responsible for following safety procedures, identifying unsafe practices or conditions and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of unsafe conditions, as directed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated knowledge of hotel operations, rules and regulations. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
One (1) or more years of recent and related successful experience in hotel housekeeping experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Essential duties primarily involve occasional sitting while completing paperwork or using a computer; and routine kneeling, squatting, bending, and crouching/stooping in order to perform duties. Essential duties involve frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs and, stretching, reaching, lifting and pushing of materials, supplies and equipment. Essential duties require lifting up to 30 pounds; and working a flexible workweek and workday, with standard breaks, with additional hours on a routine basis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Essential duties involve interaction with hotel guests while primarily in an inside environment, which are frequently loud or containing high noise levels.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION
$20.00 - $22.00 + hour based on experience
