Housekeeper, eldercare environment

• We are hiring a casual (per diem) Housekeeper on the day shift to help clean and maintain a convent home for elder Franciscan sisters in northern Chicago (60659 area near Lincolnwood and North Park neighborhoods)!

• Picking up shifts as available on days, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Occasional weekends may also be available.

• The hourly range for this position is $17.00 - $20.50. **Wage will be determined based on factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity.**

General Summary:

The Housekeeper performs cleaning duties in order to maintain a sanitary, clean and orderly environment. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, halls, and restrooms, and vacuuming and cleaning floors.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping/cleaning experience ( commercial/environmental cleaning experience is a plus!)
• Seeking a dedicated hard worker with excellent time-management skills who thrives in a team setting
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
