Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning in patient, public, and common areas using established processes.
• Conduct discharge cleaning in inpatient rooms to prepare for the next admission.
• Set up and change rooms as needed.
• Handle heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Report any maintenance needs to supervisors or managers.

• Lifting or carrying (35-50 lbs)

• Reaching overhead
• Sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling

Skills and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cleaner.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Integrity and reliability.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Provide immunization records or get necessary shots for hospital work.
