Housekeeper I (Floor Attendant)

Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose: 

Maintain The Padre Hotel standards of cleanliness in an efficient professional manner and contribute to an excellent guest experience.
 

Rate of Pay $16.90 per hour

• Delivery of linens, toiletries, and supplies to housekeeping room attendants 

• Completing guest requests in a timely manner and in accordance to Padre Hotel service standards. 

• Ensure that special requests for cleanliness, maintenance and appearance of guest rooms are met. 

• Proper use and storage of supplies and tools 

• Report any and all maintenance issues to proper department or supervisor  

• Ensure customer experience meets or exceeds expectations. Handle customers’ concerns and requests with a positive attitude. 

• Notify supervisor if any items are in low inventory 

• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct. 

• Ensures the proper maintenance of all department related equipment 

• Other duties may be assigned by the Housekeeping Manager, Hotel Manager, General Manager. 

**Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company.** 

Position Qualifications: 
 

• Preferably 1-2 years experience in Hospitality/ Housekeeping 

• Maintain The Padre Hotel standards of cleanliness in an efficient professional manner and contribute to an excellent guest experience.
   

• Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods and seasons. 

• Ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time.  

• Strong verbal communication and writing skills. 

• **Flexible availability is required for this position (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)**   

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS 

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company. 

Work with other divisions and areas to ensure that the customers’ overall property experience meets or exceeds expectations and standards.
