Qualifications:
Previous experience in hospitality or relevant industry required.
Previous experience with housekeeping preferred.
Familiarity with HOTSOS preferred.
Must complete OSHA-mandated safety training within the first 30 days of employment.
Position requires the ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, leaders, and guests.
Position requires flexibility to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled.
Position requires prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling 100+ pounds repetitively throughout shift.
Position requires the ability to withstand outdoor elements for long periods of time as needed.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize all assigned rooms with proper chemical and cleaning methods within shift time requirements, passing inspections, making beds, cleaning floors, bathrooms, shower walls, tubs, doors, toilets, windows, emptying trash cans, glasses and cleaning or dusting all surfaces and performs a visual inspection before leaving rooms.
Uses proper chemicals when cleaning as described by the department procedures and safety regulations.
Perform all job responsibilities safely using personal protective equipment and within range of motion with appropriate tools.
Replaces all amenities and linens according to Loews standards.
Maneuver housekeeping carts with supplies, amenities, clean linen, and keep housekeeping carts clean and organized.
Operate a Smartphone device to access guest room assignments and report unusual room conditions or rooms in need of repair by submitting work orders.
Other duties as assigned.
