Responsibilities:

*Maintains all areas according to departmental standards.

*Ensures proper infection control procedures when processing linen, trash, medical waste and performing cleaning tasks.

*Demonstrates awareness/understanding of PI Program, Excellence in action, Competencies, Mission & Vision of PRMC.

*Maintains and uses housekeeping equipment properly and safely.

*Reports pertinent information to supervisor or appropriate authority.

*Performs departmental record keeping.

*Performs all duties necessary to ensure appropriate linen and supply levels.

*Performs floor care.
