Housekeeper/Maintenance Supervisor

The Housekeeper/Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for sustaining a sterile environment in all areas of the Clinic daily to include, but is not limited to restrooms, hallways, lobby, floors, windows, vents; mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting and polishing of furniture. Maintenance duties will include ground keeping, trimming grass, removal of debris, trash pickup, maintaining parking lot, walkways and sidewalks clean and free of debris. Conduct periodic inspection of buildings and grounds and reports defects to Supervisor/CEO; ensure cleaning supplies for all areas are stocked and daily work sheets completed timely and submitted to Supervisor.  Supervise all maintenance and housekeeping employees.

Work requires a full range of body motion including eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and stretching for prolonged periods of time.  Sometime exposed to communicable diseases, bodily fluids and require the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.  It requires the ability to operate a computer keyboard, photocopier, telephone, janitorial equipment and other office equipment. Requires travel to all MMC clinical sites. 

Qualifications

High school graduate or GED. Prior cleaning experience in the medical field a preferred. Valid Georgia Driver’s License, clean driving record, and valid automobile insurance eligibility required.
