Abbington Green Bed & Breakfast, an award-winning family-owned establishment, is looking for housekeepers to join our incredible team to work part-time. The position requires working weekends and occasional holidays. Staff should be professional, prompt and reliable and committed to maintaining our high standard of cleanliness.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Cleaning guest rooms and public areas, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing towels and amenities, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. Occasional dishwashing on busy days. Must be able to climb stairs, handle laundry and work as part of a team.

Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Must have flexible availability. This position is 3-5 shifts per week: General hours 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, 10-30 hours per week.

Must have reliable transportation

We are a certified living wage employer located in the Montford Historic District of Asheville. Wages start at $20.10 or more plus tips / based on experience.

Compensation: $23.00 per hour

Abbington Green is a AAA Four Diamond Select Registry Property built in the Colonial Revival style. We are less than a mile from downtown Asheville, and just a short 10-minute drive to the Biltmore Estate and the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The house was completed in 1908 by Biltmore Estate's on-site supervising architect, Robert Sharpe Smith. Abbington Green is the winner of the Preservation Society's prestigious Griffin Award for excellence in historic preservation.
