Housekeeping Attendant (Room & Public Area)- Couples Swept Away

Job Purpose

To maintain guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation, ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience throughout the resort.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Room Attendant Duties

• Clean, service, and prepare guest rooms according to resort standards


• Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and guest amenities


• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures


• Inspect rooms to ensure readiness for guest occupancy


• Report maintenance issues, damages, and safety hazards promptly


• Respect guest privacy, confidentiality, and security procedures

Public Area Attendant Duties

• Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, corridors, stairways, restrooms, and staff areas


• Ensure public spaces are clean, presentable, and welcoming at all times


• Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with procedures


• Replenish supplies in public restrooms and service areas


• Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly

General Responsibilities

• Respond courteously and professionally to guest requests


• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in an organized manner


• Adhere to all hygiene, health, safety, and grooming standards


• Follow Couples Resorts policies and departmental procedures


• Work effectively as part of the housekeeping team

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or hotel/resort experience preferred


• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing


• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays


• Strong attention to detail and time management skills


• Professional appearance and positive attitude
