Housekeeping Floor Tech

The Housekeeping Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and condition of carpeted and hard-surface floors throughout the property. This position uses specialized floor-care equipment and cleaning solutions to ensure all assigned areas meet hotel cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, floor care, or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of carpet cleaning, carpet extraction, and hard-floor maintenance preferred.
• Ability to operate floor-care equipment, including carpet extractors, buffers, and floor scrubbers, or willingness to be trained.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver cleaning equipment as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify stains, discoloration, and flooring maintenance concerns.
• Ability to follow instructions, manage assigned tasks, and meet established deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional attitude, reliability, and commitment to maintaining hotel cleanliness standards.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
