Full-time, First Shift

Monday - Friday with Rotating Weekends

$15.50 - $17.50/hour

Responsibilities for the Housekeeping - Independent Living position include:

• Vacuuming, moping, sweeping, and dusting assigned residential rooms and common areas.
• Cleaning windows and mirrors.
• Cleaning and resupplying restrooms.
• Removing waste and emptying trash.
• Driving between buildings if needed (all within same campus)
• Maintaining cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspected.
• Replenishing cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Organizing janitorial storage areas.
• Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance.
• Assisting as needed in other specialty areas of the building, including assisted living, long-term care. and laundry.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements for the Housekeeping - Independent Living position include:

• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, previous experience in healthcare environment is a plus.
• A solid work history with excellent customer service, attendance & punctuality.
• High school diploma/GED OR 1 to 3 years of related experience.
• Drivers license and reliable transportation, driving between buildings during your shift is required.
• Must have the ability to complete required safety classes.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. 
• Must be able to pass drug test and FBI/BCI background checks.
• Must be able to pass sanctions checks for working in health care facilities.
