Hampton Inn Airport South in Florence, Kentucky, is a well-regarded hotel just minutes from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. We pride ourselves on clean rooms, friendly service, and a supportive team environment. We’re looking for a dependable Laundry Attendant to help keep our guests comfortable and our hotel running smoothly.

Job Summary

As a Laundry Attendant, you’ll be responsible for washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels throughout the hotel. You’ll also assist the housekeeping team with room cleaning and public area upkeep as needed. This is a great role for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys staying active.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry items


• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely


• Inspect linens for stains or damage and set aside items for re-washing or replacement


• Maintain proper inventory levels of linens and restock housekeeping carts and floors


• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and safe


• Assist with guest room cleaning, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom sanitation, as needed


• Help clean public areas such as the lobby, hallways, breakfast area, and fitness center


• Follow all hotel cleanliness standards, chemical safety procedures, and brand standards


• Report maintenance issues, lost items, or guest concerns to the supervisor

Qualifications

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person


• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand, bend, push, and pull for extended periods


• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team


• Basic English communication skills


• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
