Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are hiring dedicated Housekeepers to join the team at a premier waterfront hotel in downtown Norfolk, VA. Salary: $14.50/hr - Paid Weekly

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas to meet the hotel’s high cleanliness and presentation standards


• Replace linens, towels, and amenities to ensure rooms are fully stocked and guest-ready


• Dust, vacuum, sanitize, and tidy all assigned spaces, paying close attention to detail


• Respond promptly to guest requests, delivering exceptional service that enhances their stay


• Report any maintenance issues, lost-and-found items, or room status updates to supervisors


• Keep housekeeping carts organized and well-stocked for daily efficiency


• Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals


• Assist team members in maintaining cleanliness in shared and public areas

Housekeeper Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided


• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards


• Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet deadlines


• Positive attitude and dedication to creating a comfortable and welcoming guest experience


• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays


• Physical ability to lift light to moderate loads, bend, and stand for extended periods.
