The Environmental Housekeeper will ensure cleanliness and safety in our facilities. This position requires the applicant to pass a Motor Vehicle background check, have a current driver license and insurance as travelling between locations is required.

Pay Range: $18.00 -$20.00 per hour

Part time, including nights and weekends

Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties

• Clean and maintain buildings / facilities
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
• Service, clean, and Supply restrooms
• Wipe and Clean tabletops, chairs,
• Dust furniture and fixtures
• Must be able to use basic cleaning equipment
• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures
• Notify Supervisors of unsafe conditions, major repairs, and any abnormal conditions
• Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and company requirements.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• 1-2 Years of Janitorial / Housekeeping experience is preferred but not required

Licenses & Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid Auto Insurance
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation

Specific Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Required

• Knowledge of Custodial and for care practice
• Knowledge of Cleaning practice/safety procedures related to the use of hazardous chemicals
• Some Understanding of standard cleaning methods, equipment's, and supplies used in office and commercial cleanings

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, balance, bend, and kneel in completion of normal cleaning duties, other repetitive motions
• Must be physically capable of using backpack vacuums during each shift
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work under pressure for a long period of time
