PURPOSE

As the Housekeeping Supervisor at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel, you will oversee the housekeeping team to ensure that all hotel areas are kept in pristine condition, reflecting our high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to provide guests with a welcoming and immaculate environment throughout their stay.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Team Leadership: Supervise the housekeeping team members, including Room Attendants and House-persons. Schedule shifts, assign daily duties, and ensure team member's adherence to cleaning standards.
• Quality Control: Regularly inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met. Address any issues promptly and effectively.
• Training & Development: Train new hires in proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols. Provide ongoing training and support to all housekeeping team members.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Ensure adequate stocking levels and proper maintenance of equipment.
• Guest Relations: Address guest complaints related to cleanliness in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of room cleanliness, maintenance issues, and other significant occurrences. Report to the Housekeeping management with updates and issues that require attention.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel staff, such as laundry personnel and other room attendants, to ensure timely turnover of rooms.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Two (2) years of experience in housekeeping operations.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques and operation of housekeeping equipment.

PREFERRED

Education and Experience:

• One (1) year of experience leading others in a supervisory or lead role.
• Experience working in an integrated Casino Hotel and/or a Forbes or AAA rated property.

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
