The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the Housekeeping Department.

Responsibilities of the Housekeeping Supervisor:

• Organize employee shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
• Facilitate training team members regarding cleaning and maintenance duties
• Inspect residents’ rooms, private and public areas for cleanliness
• Ensure daily housekeeping operations run smoothly
• Oversee staff performance on a daily basis
• Respond to resident complaints and special requests
• Order, monitor and replenish cleaning products stock
• Supervise laundry staff
• With assistance of recruiting department, hire additional housekeeping staff
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas

of the Housekeeping Supervisor:

• Experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in healthcare or similar role preferred
• Housekeeping experience required
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• High School diploma
• Experience in long-term care facility preferred
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and products
• Excellent organizational skills
• Compassion and tolerance for older adults
• Must pass a complete background check which may include fingerprinting
