Housekeeping Supervisor $15-$16 per Hour - Hocking Hills Lodge & Conference Center

Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center located inside Hocking Hills State Park is seeking candidates for Housekeeping Supervisor position.

Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center is an 81-room lodge with 40 cabins, a full-service restaurant/lounge, and banquet facilities to accommodate up to 200 guests. • Work schedule will allow for a work and life balance, but ideal candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule based on business demands including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of guest rooms, cabins, public space by inspecting each area in a timely manner. 


• Make daily room/cabin assignments in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper


• Oversee all Housekeeping staff to include housekeepers, housepersons, laundry and public space attendants


• Inspects all rooms and cabins to ensure they meet the Company established standards of cleanliness in a timely manner


• Report to Housekeeping or Maintenance any damages or maintenance work immediately so as to ensure the next guest checks into a working room/cabin


• Inspect all public areas to ensure cleanliness after each shift


• Ensure all laundry is done and caught up during each shift


• Replace/restock unit levels as needed


• Update room status in Stay In Touch periodically throughout the day to keep the front desk agents updated on availability


• Pickup and ensure that lost and found items are logged promptly and accurately


• Perform any of the Housekeeping duties as needed

Qualification Standards: 

• Basic reading & writing skills


• Communication skills


• Basic computer knowledge using a Windows environment


• Must be a friendly, outgoing “people” person with a good attitude and professionalism


• Up to 6 months Housekeeping experience is required


• Must be available day and evening shifts, weekends and holidays


• Must be flexible and cooperative as a variety of tasks and job duties are assigned


• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time


• Ability to reach, wipe, push, fold and pull


• Must be able to frequently bend/stoop and occasionally squat, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly


• Must have sufficient mobility to perform tasks within production and service time frames established by the company


• Must work well under pressure and exhibit patience daily
