Compensation: $28.00–$32.00 per hour (Based on years of experience)

Role Overview:

Victorian Post Acute, located in the heart of San Francisco on Pine Street, is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor. We are looking for a leader who understands that a clean environment is the foundation of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have specific experience in Environmental Services (EVS) or Housekeeping within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and a passion for maintaining a pristine, safe, and welcoming community for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate staffing schedules to ensure consistent cleaning of offices, public areas, and resident rooms.

• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of all resident and public areas to maintain our high standards of cleanliness.

• Specialized Planning: Schedule and oversee deep-cleaning programs, including annuals, move-in preparations, and carpet cleaning.

• Inventory & Budget: Monitor inventory levels, order equipment/supplies, and assist in monitoring the department budget.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure staff is trained on the safe handling of chemicals (MSDS) and remains in full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/federal healthcare regulations.

• Hands-On Support: Lead by example by assisting staff with cleaning duties (floors, restrooms, resident apartments) as needed to ensure the job is done right.

• Professional Rapport: Maintain a tactful and professional relationship with residents, family members, and government agency personnel.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.

• SNF Experience Required: Previous experience as an EVS or Housekeeping lead in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care environment is highly preferred.

• Leadership Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in supervision and staff scheduling.

• Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English; must be able to follow complex instructions and safety protocols.

• Problem Solving: Ability to handle practical problems and manage multiple variables in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, kneel, and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
