Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor at The Verve Hotel - Boston Natick plays a key role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel. This position involves overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team, maintaining inventory, and working closely with management to provide a welcoming and pristine environment for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure assigned areas are cleaned to company standards.


• Train, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping team members.


• Manage scheduling and daily assignments to maintain operational efficiency.


• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces for cleanliness and maintenance issues.


• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, and coordinate with purchasing as needed.


• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping.


• Enforce health and safety standards and follow hotel policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred.


• Strong leadership and communication skills.


• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.


• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.


• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and scheduling.


• Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
