Responsibilities
Room Attendant Duties:
· Clean guest rooms and bathrooms following brand standards
· Maintain cleanliness in hallways and common areas
· Properly use chemicals, cleaners, and equipment
· Stock housekeeping carts and linen storage areas
· Report maintenance issues promptly
· Follow safe work habits and procedures
· Perform additional housekeeping tasks as assigned
Housekeeping Supervisor Duties:
· Assist in hiring, training, and supervising housekeeping staff
· Ensure guest rooms meet brand and cleanliness standards
· Help create and manage housekeeping schedules
· Conduct daily team shift meetings in absence of Executive Housekeeper
· Coach and guide team members, ensuring policies and procedures are followed
· Perform room inspections and maintain health, safety, and quality standards
· Work with maintenance to address room maintenance needs
· Conduct quality checks and provide follow-up training as needed
· Monitor supply inventory and enforce cost controls
· Maintain departmental financial records and assist with budgeting
· Support the team during peak periods or staffing shortages

Qualifications
· Previous housekeeping or custodial experience required
· Supervisory experience in hospitality strongly preferred
· Strong attention to detail and a high work ethic
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Ability to build positive guest and team relationships
· Experience with Property Management Systems preferred
· High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred

· Must be able to stand, walk, push, kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods
· Lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts or equipment up to 100 pounds
