Housekeeping - Weekends

Partners Hope Foundation in collaboration with Partners In Home Care are seeking a dedicated and compassionate weekend Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients, families, and staff. This position involves routine cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces within our 12-room hospice facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and disinfect patient rooms, including surfaces, furniture, and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.


• Common Area Maintenance: Clean and sanitize hallways, restrooms, lounges, and staff areas.


• Waste Management: Properly dispose of trash and biohazard materials, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards.


• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; strip, wax, and buff floors as needed.


• Supply Management: Restock cleaning supplies and maintaining janitorial closets in an organized manner.


• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure cleaning equipment is in good working condition and report any malfunctions.


• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment; use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).


• Special Projects: Assist with deep cleaning tasks and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospice setting.


• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.


• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to schedules.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.


• Must pass a background check and health screening.
