Job Title: Housekeeping Worker
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (some weekends required)
Contract Duration: 1-Year Assignment

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Workers to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within assigned facilities. The ideal candidate will have basic housekeeping knowledge, experience using cleaning chemicals and equipment, and a strong commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping and custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.


• Clean, sanitize, and straighten assigned areas, including common spaces, offices, restrooms, and other designated locations.


• Collect, sort, transport, launder, and distribute linens, uniforms, and other facility materials as needed.


• Replenish housekeeping and cleaning supplies.


• Properly handle and dispose of waste and contaminated materials in accordance with safety guidelines.


• Operate housekeeping equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.


• Follow all workplace safety procedures and infection control standards.


• Assist with maintaining an orderly and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and occupants.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or related experience preferred.


• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment.


• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.


• Must be able to pass required background screening and drug testing.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.


• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.

• National and State Background Check required as a condition of employment.
