Houseman

We are hiring for a Houseman to join the housekeeping team at a well-known hotel property in downtown Chicago. The Houseman plays a vital support role in keeping guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces clean, stocked, and ready for daily operations. Salary: $16.00/hr - Weekly Pay

Houseman Responsibilities:

• Deliver linen, supplies, and amenities to guest floors and housekeeping stations.


• Remove trash and used linens from guest floors and service areas.


• Assist the housekeeping team with cleaning and preparing guest rooms.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage rooms and public areas.


• Respond to housekeeping and guest service requests in a timely manner.


• Support deep cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned.


• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department.

Houseman Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred.


• Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs.


• Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.


• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with a team.


• Good communication and customer service skills.


• Available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
