Houseperson

As a Houseperson, you are the behind-the-scenes support that keeps our guest rooms, public areas, and housekeeping team operating smoothly. You ensure that everything is stocked, clean, and ready — from fresh linens to tidy common spaces. This role is essential in maintaining our property’s high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

Housekeeping Support

• Deliver linens and amenities to guest rooms and housekeeping staff.
• Remove soiled linens and trash from rooms and common areas.
• Replenish housekeeping closets and carts with fresh supplies.
• Assist with guest room resets by stripping beds and prepping for cleaning.

Property Cleanliness

• Clean and maintain all public/common areas including lobbies, stairwells, hallways, and restrooms.
• Ensure all floors are swept, vacuumed, or mopped regularly.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned (e.g., windows, baseboards, upholstery).
• Monitor and restock public area amenities as needed

Operations & Maintenance Support

• Receive, transport, and organize supplies and deliveries.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks or report issues to the appropriate department.
• Help rearrange furniture or prep spaces for events or high-traffic days
• Support snow removal or outdoor upkeep as needed (seasonal)

Guest Service

• Respond to guest requests for items such as towels, extra pillows, or other amenities.
• Support front desk or concierge with deliveries or service calls when needed.
• Report any lost and found items or safety concerns immediately

Who You are

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or general hotel operations preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and work efficiently without direct supervision.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as needed.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support wherever needed

Physical Requirements

Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, kneel, walk stairs, and be on your feet for extended periods.  This is an active and physical position, requiring consistent movement and manual labor tasks.
