Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in hallways, lobbies, stairways, elevators, and public areas.
  • Ensure carpets are vacuumed, floors are mopped, and furniture is dusted.
  • Deliver linens, towels, and cleaning supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping carts.
  • Collect used linens and transport them to the laundry area.
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
  • Respond to guest requests for extra towels, pillows, or other amenities.
  • Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
  • Refill housekeeping carts with necessary supplies.
  • Keep supply rooms clean and organized.
  • Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints, seeking assistance from leadership when necessary.
  • Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive, professional work environment, and adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous housekeeping experience.
  • Must have an aptitude for guest services and have a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands:

  • Required to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch while performing duties.
  • Use of hands to finger, handle or feel; use of hands and arms to reach.
  • Requirement to lift or move upwards of 25 pounds.
