Housing Coordinator

Job Purpose

Tillamook Family Counseling Center (a rural, coastal Oregon, community behavioral health agency) seeks a Housing Coordinator for a Supportive Housing initiative in Tillamook County. The program provides housing for individuals challenged with behavioral health concerns, within the City of Tillamook.  You will bring experience in property management, and a background serving those with behavioral health issues, as well as a strong commitment to customer service.  Responsibilities will include ongoing operations and management, program admissions, tenant relations, and community agency partnerships. Duties and Responsibilities

•  Maintain a high level of customer service by responding to resident inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.


• Effectively communicate with residents, co-workers, vendors, and other customers.


• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.


• Assist in the development and implementation of community activities and events.


• Process rent payments and security deposit refunds.


• Inspect apartments on a regular basis and address maintenance issues as they arise.


• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner.


• Day to day operations of the facility.

 
Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, business accounting or related field


• 5+ years’ experience in property management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.


• Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.


• Strong understanding of lease agreements and landlord-tenant law.


• Excellent customer service, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.


• Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reports.

We have HSA and FSA plans that we pay 90% of; you choose what suits you best. We have 11 paid holidays a year, as well as paid sick leave and vacation time. Vacation starts out at 9 hours a month and increases with your time here. We also offer a generous retirement program. Our 403(b) is non-contributory (that means you can contribute if you want, you don't have too, we still will), we put in 9% of your salary and you are vested after 6 months.

The Agency was incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in 1983 and has been successfully operating in Tillamook County since that time. Our trained professional staff is highly qualified to assess client problems and to partner with others to seek solutions. TFCC is certified by the Health Systems Division of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA).
