Pay Grade: B12 ($71,800.00 - $108,400.00 annually, depending on experience)

DESCRIPTION
The Housing Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and daily operations of housing services within the community behavioral health provider organization. This role ensures the successful delivery of housing assistance to individuals with behavioral health challenges, including those with mental health and substance use disorders. The Housing Program Manager will lead and supervise the Housing Program team, monitor program performance, manage resources, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive housing support for clients.

Supervision Exercised
Provides supervision to Housing Assistance staff. Supervision will be provided in an individual and group format. The Housing Program manager will document supervision activities, which will be used to evaluate employee performance.

This position is supervised by BHRN Program Manager.

Requirements
QUALFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or social work preferred or have three years of experience working in a social service field. Experience working in the housing field preferred. Able to pass a criminal history background check and have a current drivers license.
Other Skills and Abilities
Must have excellent typing skills, have knowledge of basic office software programs and ability to effectively use such software.
Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats. Must have the ability to present and exchange information internally across teams and co-workers, and externally with customers and the public. Information communicated ranges from routine/basic to complex and confidential information.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable or carry insurance for client service purposes and for travel between business offices, the community, and to attend required meetings and/or trainings. Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 410-007-0200 through 410-007-0380.
PHYISCAL DEMANDS
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use office automation including computer and phone system that requires fine manipulation, grasping, typing, and reaching. Position will require sitting for several hours reviewing reports and other written materials and talking on the phone. This position may occasionally be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds. Incumbent will occasionally have to reach, bend, kneel and squat when adjusting equipment or retrieving supplies.
This position will require frequent driving, often driving for up to 6 hours at a time.
The position may require regular overnight stays, some of which will be two or more nights in a row.
The employee should possess a valid driver’s license for vehicle travel between business offices and attend required meetings and/or trainings.
Work Environment
Work is performed in an office environment and in many community settings. The noise level is usually moderate but occasionally may be exposed to loud noise such as raised voice levels and alarms.
This position is exposed to the everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as an office (i.e., moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and electrical shock).
