We are seeking a dedicated, caring Housing Program Supervisor professional who enjoys working in the community with our Housing team to ensure services and support to residents on-site in our Brockton area locations.
What you'll do:
Developing and maintaining close working relationships with Local Housing Authorities, providers, and other community representatives
Ensuring quality of programs in accordance with policies and procedures
Maintaining program handbooks and other program materials
Maintain effective communication with Community Programs department and other OCES staff, housing authority and provider agency staff
Monitoring and approving the work of assigned Housing Program staff
Representing the agency as directed; participate in public outreach/education activities
Receiving, organizing, distributing, and interpreting OCES and applicable funding source regulations, policies and standards
Supervising, evaluating, and making appropriate recommendations regarding assigned staff and housing programs/initiatives
Understanding and adhering to regulations, standards, and procedures
Other duties as assigned
What you'll bring:
Your passion for helping others and desire to make a difference.
Adaptability to be able to change as the needs of consumers and/or programs change
Current Social Work License preferred
Three years of experience in a social services environment; housing and supervisory experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Bilingual is a plus
