HP Digital Press Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shift

TPI is actively seeking experienced HP Indigo Press Operators to work 2nd & 3rd shift in Des Moines, IA. 

We are offering a $3,000 sign-on-bonus and up to $5,000 in relocation assistance for candidates willing to relocate to Des Moines, IA.

The Indigo Press Operator is a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to a fluid environment. Outstanding organizational skills are a must, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Need to have a detail-oriented mindset with advanced experience and understanding of technology as it pertains to the processes of digital printing.

Essential Functions

• Set up and troubleshoot the Indigo presses quickly and efficiently.
• Detail-oriented to complete frequent quality checks.
• Customer-oriented and motivated to succeed.
• Ability to perform varying work within tight deadlines.
• Provide assistance and support in a fast-paced environment to maintain on-time efficiency in regards to production throughput.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Requirements

• History of performing well under pressure.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Individual should be mechanically inclined and possess problem-solving skills. 
• Good communication and comprehension skills both written and verbal.
• Team and goal oriented.
• Must be very detail oriented.

Preferred Education and Experience

• At least three years successful experience as an Indigo Press operator, preferably with 100k, 12k, 10k and/or 7900.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods and frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. Continuous vision. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. to move palletized load. Frequent reaching, twisting, and gripping up to 25 lbs. to move paper stock. Occasional crouching and use of hand tools during routine machine maintenance.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Typical hours are Monday through Friday. 1st shift is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; 2nd shift is 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; 3rd shift is 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Weekend hours may be required during peak production times. This position typically works 40-50 hours per week.
