Cheba Hut is looking for a passionate, experienced, and highly motivated HQ Trainer to join our growing team. Position Overview

As an HQ Trainer, you will play a key role in supporting new store openings and ongoing shop operations across the Cheba Hut system. You’ll serve as both a training expert and brand ambassador, ensuring our teams are equipped, engaged, and executing to brand standards—while bringing the unmistakable Cheba Hut energy to every shift.

Key Responsibilities

• New Store Openings
  Lead training efforts for new shop launches across the country. You’ll be responsible for onboarding new team members, implementing operational systems, and setting up each location for long-term success.
  
  
• Ongoing Shop Support
  When not traveling, you’ll help support our Company Training Stores—coaching teams, elevating performance, and reinforcing best practices.
  
  
• Training Program Development
  Deliver hands-on, in-shop training across all areas—from back-of-house prep to bar operations. You'll also contribute to the development and refinement of training tools, materials, and programs.
  
  
• Cross-Functional Support
  Step in where needed. This may include supporting shop operations, assisting with program rollouts, or helping facilitate brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• Shop Leadership Experience
  Minimum of one year in a high level leadership role within a restaurant or retail environment.
  
  
• Brand Familiarity
  Strong understanding of Cheba Hut’s culture, operations, and marijuana-themed branding. Must be comfortable representing and reinforcing the vibe of the brand.
  
  
• Travel Flexibility
  This is an in-person position with the home base located in Fort Collins, CO.  You must have willingness and ability to travel frequently, including extended stays during new store openings.
  
  
• Adaptability and Drive
  A team player with excellent problem-solving skills, strong initiative, and a can-do attitude.
  
  
• Technical Proficiency
  Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools to track progress, document training, and communicate effectively.
  
  
• Physical Requirements
  Ability to lift up to 47 pounds and work extended hours, including long days on your feet.
