Job Description - HR Admin
LHH Recruitment Solutions is actively seeking an HR Admin for a contract to hire opportunity with a client in the Retail industry. This role is based in the Charlotte, NC area.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
Assist in posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Onboarding:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring completion of necessary paperwork.
Employee Records Management:
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Manage electronic and paper filing systems.
HR Administration:
Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks such as preparing HR documents, processing HR forms, and responding to employee inquiries.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements by keeping up-to-date with employment laws and regulations.
Benefits Administration:
Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and answering employee questions.
Employee Relations:
Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, events, and communication initiatives.
Training and Development:
Help coordinate training sessions, track employee training progress, and manage training records.
HR Projects:
Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed to support the HR team.
Experience and Skills:
1-2 years of HR experience
HRIS and Paper Documentation experience
MS Office and intermediates skills within Excel
Education:
Bachelor degree preferred but not required
Certification preferred but not required
Compensation: $22 - $24 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 3 days in office / 2 days remote; Hybrid schedule
