HR Assistant

Panos Foods is a growing, family-owned food distribution company that values teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement. We're looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to gain hands-on experience across all areas of Human Resources. Every day brings something different—from recruiting and onboarding new employees to supporting payroll, benefits, and employee engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Post job openings, review applications, and schedule interviews
• Assist with new hire onboarding, including paperwork and orientation
• Maintain accurate employee records and confidential HR files
• Enter and update employee information in our HRIS system
• Answer employee questions and provide outstanding customer service
• Assist with benefits administration and HR documentation
• Support payroll and other HR processes as needed
• Help ensure HR practices comply with company policies and employment regulations
• Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department
• Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• 1-2 years' experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, or Staffing 
• Bilingual: English and Spanish, required 
• Strong organization and attention to detail
