Essential Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Under the guidance of the Human Resource Manager,
* Collect and organize all the job postings and descriptions and then communicate
with all staffing agencies for recruiting needs for the designated location
* Process all new hires in our payroll system and provide EE numbers, and badge cards
* Conduct orientation and onboarding for all new employees
* Co-ordinate with payroll department for all employee's pay related matter, including
time sheet, schedules, wage adjustment, and employee status change
* Assist in completing all employee's termination/resignation documents and
processes
* Assist in processing all employee's changes in payroll system
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records
* Assist in administering FMLA/CFRA/PDL/LOA/PTO leave requests, collect required
forms and work status, and keeping track of their returns
* Assist in administering all Bereavement leaves and collecting necessary documents
* Assist in administering and following all COVID-19 protocols for EE clearances
* Assist in administering, work-related injuries reports, email communication and
collecting all necessary documents to submit to HR manager
* Assist in communicating benefit information to employees and handling the
enrollment in a timely matter.
* Assist in answering frequently asked questions from employees relating to Company
policies and benefits.
* Assist in administering all employees' complaints and
grievances by following assigned processes to collect all
investigation related material, includes conducting one on one
meetings to obtain investigation related information needed
* Assist in translating documents or interpreting for employees (Spanish/English)
* Participate in regular staff meeting
* Create all regular or ad-hoc reports for management
* Assist in coordinating Company-wide functions or activities (e.g. fire drills, company
parties, special occasion events etc.)
Job Requirements, skills and qualification
* 3 - 4 years of HR Representative /Generalist experience
* Bilingual in English and Spanish required
* Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (Oral and written)
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Able to prioritize tasks in a fast pace setting
* High level of accuracy in day-to-day assignments
* Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task
* Highly self-initiated to perform all required tasks with minimum supervision
* Must be skilled at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and
resolve concerns in a timely manner
* Must be dependable, able to follow instructions and respond to management
direction
Pay starts at $25.00/hr
