This role will serve as a key partner to the day-to-day business, partnering closely with the Director, HRBP, who oversees Global Talent for Eyeline. The position will be located in our Seoul offices, with occasional travel to our other locations.\n\nIdeal Candidate:\n\nEyeline Studios Korea is seeking an HR Business Partner to support our Seoul-based studio and its employees. In this role, you will partner with a talented team of global visionaries working at the intersection of production and technology. You will help shape and drive strategic local HR initiatives aligned with the broader Eyeline and Netflix businesses, while integrating key Netflix norms, including talent workflows, compensation cycles, and performance evaluations.\n\nThe ideal candidate is hands-on, with experience supporting leaders and individual contributors in VFX, gaming, or entertainment environments across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, coaching, development, talent density, inclusion, and overall organizational health and culture.\n\nWhat you will do:\n\n * Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for Eyeline Studios Korea, acting as a trusted advisor and bridge between Netflix and Eyeline, partnering with regional HR and GBPs to ensure a cohesive employee experience across locations \n\n * Develop and coach leaders to build strong, high-performing teams and a healthy, scalable organization \n\n * Design, inform, and execute key talent initiatives (e.g., compensation reviews, leadership development, org design) to support organizational change and transitions \n\n * Take a proactive, hands-on approach with employees at all levels, building strong, trust-based relationships and deeply understanding the needs of our fast-growing organization \n\n * Lead employee relations matters, providing sound guidance and support to managers and employees and addressing concerns effectively \n\n * Integrate inclusion and diversity into all people practices \n\n * Role-model Netflix\u2019s culture of innovation, combining strategic thinking with \u201croll up your sleeves\u201d execution \n\n * Ensure accuracy and integrity of org data in Workday to enable effective reporting, insights, and decision-making \n\n * Be a key partner in onboarding and mobilizing short-term hires, ensuring a smooth, consistent employee experience \n\n * Work independently across locations and functions, staying highly collaborative, adaptable, and effective amid change and ambiguity \n\n * Use good judgment, a first-principles mindset, data, and strong communication skills to make informed decisions and bring clarity to complex topics\n\n\n\n\nWhat we are looking for:\n\n * 8\u201312 years of HR experience in dynamic Korean-market environments, partnering with managers and leaders across the full employee lifecycle \n\n * Strong business and HR acumen, with proven problem-solving skills, high judgment, critical thinking, and data-informed analysis \n\n * Ability to influence and build trust at all levels, demonstrating excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills aligned with Netflix\u2019s culture \n\n * Solid understanding of Korean labor laws and regulations, with the ability to balance compliance with Netflix\u2019s values and approach \n\n * Comfortable operating in fast-paced, highly ambiguous, and matrixed global environments; able to adapt quickly while maintaining operational excellence \n\n * Demonstrated ability to lead through change, working autonomously and proactively to identify and address issues before they escalate \n\n * Proven coaching and consulting skills to support talent development, organizational growth, and integrations \n\n * Strong project management and execution capabilities \n\n * Curious about the business and organization, with a desire to continuously elevate the quality of partnership with the teams you support \n\n * Excellent spoken and written Korean and English, with the ability to confidently influence stakeholders at all levels \n\n * Experience in creative/production environments and supporting organizational integrations is a plus\n\n\n\n\nInclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates.
