Basic Qualifications
1.
Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations, i.e. FMLA, ADA, etc.
2.
Familiarity with payroll, HRIS and benefits software systems.
3.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, in-house systems and vendor software.
4.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5.
The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
6.
Three or more years’ experience in HR or similar field, a degree in Business, Human Resources or related field preferred.
Examples of Job Duties
1.
Provide new employees with an explanation of benefits and instruct them on enrollment and fulfillment procedures.
2.
Coordinating and scheduling of benefits meetings and trainings, which would include open enrollments each year as well as the coordination of benefits.
3.
Process enrollments quickly and accurately.
4.
Administration of COBRA, FMLA, Leave Management and Worker’s Comp.
5.
Ability to resolve employee issues independently yet know when to elevate complex situations to HR Director.
6.
Consult with new hires & employees about employment benefits and other issues.
7.
Provide ongoing support to HR and Payroll staff.
8.
Assist with New Hire Orientation.
9.
Balance bi-weekly payroll deductions.
10.
Balancing bank statements, invoices from TPA and other providers and coordinate direct payments to outside vendors.
11.
Support recruitment and onboarding of new hires.
12.
Assist with DOT Program.
13.
Other duties assigned by the HR Director.
14.
More administrative and will focus on data integrity in WD.
