The HR Generalist provides broad-based support across the employee lifecycle, partnering with the HR team to deliver accurate payroll and benefits administration, reliable workforce reporting, and general HR support for our multi-site team. This role plays a key part in advancing company-wide HR initiatives, process improvements, and training programs, while supporting day-to-day HR administration. The HR Generalist is a trusted resource for the organization, helping ensure an efficient, accurate, and positive HR experience across the company.
What You Will Do:
Payroll, Benefits & Leave Support
- Support the processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy of hours, deductions, and adjustments in partnership with the Manager of Payroll & Benefits.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries, researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Administer employee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations, including open enrollment support and reconciliation of benefits invoices.
- Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS related to pay, benefits, and status changes.
- Partner with payroll and benefits vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant administration of programs.
- Administer employee leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, and applicable state and local leave laws.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare regular and ad hoc HR reports, including headcount, turnover, compensation, and benefits utilization of metrics.
- Maintain data integrity within the HRIS, auditing records regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and support HR and business decision-making.
- Respond to internal and external data requests, including surveys, audits, and compliance reporting.
- Stay current on federal, state, and local leave regulations to ensure compliant administration.
HR Initiatives & Administration
- Contribute to the execution of company-wide HR initiatives and process improvements.
- Assist with the coordination and delivery of employee training and development programs.
- Partner with HR leadership on special projects, including policy updates, social media management, and engagement initiatives.
- Support annual HR cycles, including performance reviews, open enrollment, and engagement surveys.
- Assist with new hire onboarding and employee offboarding to ensure a welcoming onboarding experience and a smooth, professional transition for departing employees.
- Manage office supply ordering and breakroom inventory, ensuring supplies are adequately stocked.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including employment verifications and responses to general employee inquiries.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Primarily an onsite role based in the Vinings, GA office.
- Occasional travel to CRH clinic locations will be required.
- Extended periods of sitting and computer use.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of generalist HR experience spanning: payroll administration, benefits and general HR support.
- Experience supporting payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and build clear, accurate reports.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-service mindset toward employees at all levels.
