Position Summary:
The HR Generalist, with supervision, coordinates and administers HR programs across the span of HR areas for the Akron, OH location.
Essential Functions:
* Interfaces with functional and operational leaders on openings
* Reviews resumes and creates candidate pools
* Supports interview and selection process
* Partners with functional and operational leaders to complete performance management and talent management cycle
* Administer routine local training
* Coordination of corporate sponsored training
* Support managers in routine development planning
* Address complex questions by managers and team members
* Responsible for team member grievances
* Address questions on compensation and benefits
* Conduct reporting and analytics as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor degree required
* 2+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a mfg/engineering environment
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
* Ability to influence and engage at all levels of the business
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
* Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects and drive change
* Strong coaching skills
