Our client, a well-established and growing company near Sidney is seeking an HR Generalist due to growth! Our client offers an amazing work/life balance, culture and strong compensation package.
General Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation programs
- Manage the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees
- Provide necessary training and support to new hires
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and assist with problem resolution
- Coordinate benefits enrollment processes and ensure timely completion
- Assist employees with selecting appropriate benefit options
- Assess employee performance and appraises their pay scale accordingly
- Preserve physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
-Manage leave of absence requests, including FMLA, STD, LTD, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies
-Assist with creating and or updating employee handbook/policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, Associate's Degree required
- PHR and or SPHR certification a plus!
- 3+ years related HR experience
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Familiarity with FMLA, STD/LTD, and workers' compensation processes
- ADP workforce experience a plus, not required
