Job Description - HR Generalist & Project Excellence Lead

We're expanding our HR team at Ingersoll Rand! We are seeking an HR Generalist & Project Excellence Lead to provide comprehensive HR support, project execution, data analytics and process improvement for two key multi-regional business units within the Precision and Science Technologies division.



Reporting directly to the Human Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal role serving as primary HR contact for employees and supervisors under the Dosatron US and ARO business units. HR Generalist duties will focus in areas of Talent Management, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Payroll Administration, Compensation, Benefits & Total Rewards, Employee Relations, Communication, and Change Management. The position will also act as the Project Excellence Lead, identifying ways to improve the organization/function through data analysis, research and discovery, project execution and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Generalist Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on HR support to employees and supervisors, adhering to company policies and procedures.Foster open communication channels to address and resolve HR-related concerns effectively.Oversee critical HR processes such as Talent Management, Onboarding, Training & Development, and Employee Engagement.Manage payroll administration discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance.






HR Project Excellence Lead Responsibilities:

Project Manage strategic HR initiatives, focused on talent management, learning and development, employee engagement, communication, and change management.

Evaluate current HR processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic solutions to enhance operational efficiency.Perform internal and external research to identify best practices, present opportunities for enhancement through data-driven solutions. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and improve functional KPIs.





Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, with at least 3 years of HR Generalist experience in a multinational organization.Proficiency in project management with at least 2 years of experience leading project teams.Strong analytical skills with HR data analytics experience.Excellent communication skills and proficiency in HR technologies, including Microsoft Office Suite.






Travel and Work Arrangement:

This position is a hybrid working arrangement, with up to 25% travel based on manager needs. The position may reside in either Davidson, NC or Clearwater, FL.

HR Analytics and Data-Driven Decision-Making: Expertise in managing or creating HR metrics, utilizing workforce data, to inform strategic decisions and develop process improvements. Change Management and Process Excellence: Optimizing HR processes for increased efficiency.
