HR Onboarding Assistant

Empath Health is looking for a detail-oriented Onboarding Assistant to support our HR Total Rewards team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow and continue a career in Human Resources. You’ll help create a smooth, positive experience for new colleagues as they join our organization, from their offer all the way to their first day.

What You’ll Do

• Support the onboarding process by helping with background checks, new hire paperwork, and file accuracy.


• Process new hires, rehires, and transfers in HR systems and assist with scheduling orientation.


• Provide helpful and timely support to applicants and hiring managers throughout the onboarding process.


• Maintain organized onboarding records, checklists, and reports to ensure compliance.


• Assist with general HR administrative tasks, employment verifications, and special projects as needed.


• Help ensure new employees have a smooth, positive introduction to Empath Health.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma required; interest in HR or administrative work is a plus.


• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks.


• Good written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.


• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new HR systems (training provided).


• Ability to work well on a team and independently with professionalism and confidentiality.
