This is an exciting opportunity to support multiple client groups by working closely with HR partners to support Office of Chief Technology Officer, Display Flexible Technology and corporate functions. Successful candidate will have responsibility for core HR services delivery, to enable manager and team effectiveness, global consistency, and exceptional employee experience.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProactively shape HR BU/Function strategies and priorities to align to BU strategy and changing needs to help shape the appropriate culture. Diagnose and provide appropriate interventions to optimize business performance to execute against strategy goals generally at the BU/Function leadership level.\n\nConduct organizational \u0026 talent assessments; develop talent strategy and pipeline to staff and build workforce capability. (e.g., selection, assessment, development, succession)\n\nDesign and implement change management, communication and engagement strategies within the BU/Function.\n\nActively partner, coach \u0026 develop executive leadership and management. (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, performance management).\n\nEffectively leverage and partner with COE \u0026 HR Ops in the delivery of initiatives to deliver the HR strategy for BU/Function. Balance enterprise-wide and business unit specific needs with local requirements.\n\nLeverage tools and systems e.g.; Workforce Dashboard, Workday to perform analytics in support of business strategy\n\nAs required, participate in M,A\u0026D diligence and integration(s) from the HR perspective.\n\nFunctional Knowledge\n\n * Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function\n\n\n\nBusiness Expertise\n\n * Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process or service improvements \n\n\n\nLeadership\n\n * Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution\n\n\n\nProblem Solving\n\n * Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions\n\n\n\nImpact\n\n * Impacts the direction and resource allocation for program, project or services; works within general functional policies and industry guidelines\n\n\n\nInterpersonal Skills\n\n * Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\nTime Type:\n\nFull time\n\nEmployee Type:\n\nAssignee / Regular\n\nTravel:\n\nYes, 10% of the Time\n\nRelocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.\n\nFor all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
