About the Role

Platform Science is looking for a data-driven, empathetic, and detail-oriented HR (PX) Generalist to join our People Experience (PX) team. In this role, you will serve as a vital operational anchor for our daily HR processes, owning our onboarding and offboarding workflows, HRIS administration, and employee lifecycle check-ins. You will collaborate across teams to optimize HR operations, foster high engagement, and deliver a seamless, compliant, and people-first experience for all Platform Science team members.

Essential Responsibilities

HR Systems & Operational Process Management 

• HRIS Administration: Own the day-to-day configuration, data integrity, and maintenance of ADP Workforce Now and connected HR technology systems.


• Process Optimization: Identify manual HR workflows, map current operational bottlenecks, and design scalable, automated solutions across HR operations.


• Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries submitted to the HR Department inbox regarding company policies, benefits, and HR programs.


• Onsite Operations: Assist with reviewing and processing location-specific physical mail and documentation.


• PX Programs: Collaborate with the broader People team on employee engagement cohorts, community initiatives, and administrative support for company-wide programs.

Employee Lifecycle Management

• Onboarding & Offboarding Infrastructure: Fully own and optimize the Enboarder platform for automated employee onboarding and offboarding workflows, including contractors.


• New Hire Orientation & Verification: Host HR onboarding orientation meetings for new hires and process Form I-9 verifications.


• Lifecycle Support: Facilitate new hire check-in meetings and exit interviews across the employee lifecycle.


• Employee Transactions: Manage the administrative processing of employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, and FTE conversions.


• File Management: Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential employee personnel files and records.


• General Compliance: Ensure new hire onboarding paperwork is current and compliant with state disclosures. Assist with state reporting requirements for hires and terminations, unemployment claims, and Department of Defense requests

General Data & Reporting 

• Data & Insights: Partner with the Data Analyst to pull HRIS reports and share data insights that support PX team decision-making.


• Operational Reporting: Prepare and distribute routine operational HR reports.


• Content Maintenance: Keep PX systems and employee-facing materials up to date, including new hire orientation content and the employee intranet.


• Audits: Assist with internal and external department audits.

Required Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.


•  2-3 years of general HR experience 

Technical Skills 

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now administration


• Excel Proficiency *Google Suite Proficiency 

Soft Skills: Proven ability to handle sensitive employee matters with extreme confidentiality and a high degree of empathy. Ability to handle high work volume and execute on competing priorities.

This is a non-exempt role. Our job titles for each posting may span across more than one job level. The estimated hourly rate for this position is between $33.65 and $40.87 per hour. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire hourly rates across all US locations. Compensation packages are based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, work experience, relevant trainings and certifications, business needs, market demands and specific geographical location. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
