Description

As an HR Recruitment Specialist, the role involves developing a standardized recruitment framework and onboarding program, coordinating logistics, providing managers with tools, and monitoring feedback to refine processes. The HR Recruitment Specialist will also schedule and conduct new hire orientation sessions, introduce company culture, coordinate training, and ensure the completion of new hire paperwork. Additionally, the specialist will conduct exit interviews, analyze data to identify trends, share insights with leadership, and refine recruitment, onboarding, and employer branding to align with company values and departmental needs.

The HR Recruitment Specialist will collaborate with department heads to design and manage structured internship programs, source diverse interns, and select high-impact career fairs. They will develop partnerships with schools and universities, organize campus events, and create branded content to engage students. Partnering with education programs to source candidates with in-demand skills, collaborating with managers on recruitment strategies, and expanding social media campaigns with marketing to promote company roles will also be essential.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a standardized recruitment framework appliable to all departments, including skills-based job descriptions.
  • Standardize the onboarding program with department-specific training, coordinate logistics, provide managers with tools, and monitor feedback to refine processes for a seamless employee experience.
  • Scheduling and conducting new hire orientation sessions, introducing company culture, and coordinating training.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze data to identify trends, share insights with leadership, and refine recruitment, onboarding, and employer branding to align with company values and departmental needs.
  • Act as the point of contact, resource, and lead person for structured internship and sponsorship programs, collaborating with department heads to source diverse, high-caliber interns through targeted outreach to universities and professional networks.
  • Select high-impact career fairs based on hiring needs and manager input, create compelling booth materials, train participants in candidate engagement, and manage post-fair follow-ups.
  • Develop partnerships with targeted schools and universities, organize campus events, and create branded content to engage students and promote the company’s culture and values.
  • Partner with education programs to source candidates with in-demand skills and collaborate with managers to create tailored recruitment strategies and streamline the hiring process.
  • Act as a strategic partner by handling logistics, providing managers with recruitment tools, customizing outreach for each location, and tracking engagement metrics to optimize future efforts.
  • Partner with marketing to expand social media campaigns to promote all company roles and showcasing the employee and company brand.
  • Assisting with employee recognition programs, surveys, or events enhancing employee morale and retention through engagement initiatives. 
  • Assess talent gaps, identify future role opportunities, and partner with managers to proactively plan for evolving talent needs across departments.

Reporting

  • Inform your supervisor of discrepancies in your reports as soon as you are aware of them
  • Inform your supervisor of potential problems or potential new business opportunities directly or indirectly related to your department
  • Report any unsafe equipment or working conditions to your supervisor

Safety and Compliance

  • Uphold cooperative policies 
  • Follow and comply with all laws and regulations both State and Federal
  • Attend employee safety meetings, etc. held as required or scheduled in conjunction with Safety Director or location as required

Other Duties

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management 
  • Attitude consistently mirrors the company image and promotes fellow employee teamwork
  • Present a professional image through words, actions, and personal appearance

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with department heads and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience in conducting interviews and onboarding processes.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in developing partnerships with educational institutions and professional networks.
  • Valid driver’s license
