Hr Representative

Position: HR Representative Company: Florvets Structures Location: Houston, Texas, United States Contract Details: Full-time Florvets Structures, a leading construction company in Houston, Texas, is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Representative to join our team. We specialize in building commercial and residential structures and are committed to providing the highest quality service to our clients. As an HR Representative, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management for our company. This includes recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company goals and objectives - Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers - Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and other recruitment sources - Conduct new employee orientation and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed - Coordinate and conduct employee training programs - Manage performance evaluation processes and work with managers to address any performance issues - Handle employee relations and address any employee grievances or conflicts - Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations - Maintain accurate employee records and files - Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration - Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters - Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field - 2-3 years of experience in HR, preferably in the construction industry - Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite - SHRM certification is a plus We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and development within our company.
