HR Service Center Representative. This role is based out of Columbus - GA and is onsite 3 days a week.
Job Description The HR Shared Services Business Support (HR Service Center Representative
- Acts as the first point of contact to employ knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures to support inquiries from current and former team members, applicants, and HR partners.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to respond to inquiries via email, fax or case management system. Also, handles basic HRIS system tasks in support of HR Shared Services.
Duties and Responsibilities - Responds to customer service inquiries and escalated issues via well-written responses and may leverage verbal responses if needed (general inquiries, payroll, HR policy, etc.).
- Recommends appropriate solutions. This may refer to more complex or recurring issues.
- Performs data look-up and data entry in various HR administrative systems to aid in resolving inquiries.
- Intermediate level work may include assistance with onboarding and offboarding tasks as assigned and other HRIS tasks such as team member personal information and life cycle changes, password and user ID resets, monitoring of case management inquiries, and assigning and responding as appropriate.
- Verification of employment forms and general informational requests.
Minimum Qualifications: - High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of related experience
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
Required Qualifications: - Experience collaborating and working on a team with a high level of accountability for self and others.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Google (Outlook, Word, Excel) or like software.
- Experience with HRIS, HR and/or Payroll platforms.
- Accurate record keeping.
- High level of confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in a service center or customer service environment.
