Job Description - HRIS Administrator

Department is Human Resources

Reports to Human Resources Manager

FLSA Status is Non-Exempt

Objective and Purpose:

The HRIS Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's Human Resources Information System. This role involves configuring the system, ensuring data integrity, generating reports, and providing technical support to HR staff. The HRIS Specialist will work closely with the HR, IT, and other departments to ensure the system meets the needs of the organization and complies with all relevant regulations.

Primary Responsibilities :

Administer and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
Monitor and manage HRIS updates, enhancements, and configurations.
Troubleshoot and resolve HRIS-related issues in a timely manner.
Ensure data integrity by performing regular data audits and validations.
Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS.
Oversee data entry and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Provide technical support to HR staff and other users of the HRIS.
Conduct training sessions for HR staff and end-users on system functionalities.
Develop and update user guides and training materials.
Generate standard and ad-hoc reports to meet HR and organizational needs.
Analyze HR data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Collaborate with HR, IT and other departments to develop custom reports.
Test and evaluate new HRIS modules and functionalities.
Ensure seamless integration of the HRIS with other organizational systems.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of HR data.
Implement and monitor data security measures.
Lead HRIS-related projects, including implementation of new modules and system migrations.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.
Requirements : Minimum of 2 years of experience in HRIS administration or related roles.
Proficiency in HRIS software (e.g., UKG Pro and Dimensions), MS Office Suite, and database management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the healthcare industry.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
Familiarity with HR processes and best practices.

Work Conditions: Candidate must be able to work in office 4 days a week
Candidate must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
Candidate must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Salary: $65,000 to $80,000 / annum

Location: 1800 West Loop S., Suite 2000 Houston, TX 77027

Position Pay Range

$60,000-$80,000 USD
